Google Computer Science Summer Institute
- Accepted as one of 231 students in an applicant pool of 2000
- Participated in an intensive, three-week coding bootcamp focused on programming and web app development
- Learned HTML, CSS,
JavaScript, Python, and Google AppEngine from Google engineers over two-week period
- Developed and deployed ‘Spiral UP’; a web application with two classmates

- Recruited and led a team of five girls to the US IYPT National Selection
- Introduced basic MatLab and paper reading to members
