- Accepted as one of 231 students in an applicant pool of 2000
- Participated in an intensive, three-week coding bootcamp focused on programming and web app development 
- Learned HTML, CSS, JavaScriptPython,  and Google AppEngine from Google engineers over two-week period

- Recruited and led a team of five girls to the US IYPT National Selection
- Introduced basic MatLab and paper reading to members
- Team achieved 2nd place in over-all ranking
